The software can then determine the most efficient solution that will meet the site’s requirements, the necessary pressure, and the given configuration.

Variable-speed and fixed-speed (VSD) rotary screw compressors
A compressor with a built-in VSD can handle constant loads over an extended period of time (at nearly 100% duty cycle), but it can also operate at slower speeds to meet lower air demand at other times of the day.
